My little bro finally got back from his Honolulu, Hawaii mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so grateful to be a part of this rapidly growing church and for the example that my little brother is to me.
It never ceases to amaze me that 19 year old boys can go out for two years to serve their church and come back as men. Everything about him has changed. His whole demeanor, his work ethic, his attitude about life, they've all enhanced his personality and will be an asset to him in his future endeavors. I am grateful for a church who creates opportunities like this for young boys to gain their own testimony of the gospel and I'm grateful for the boys who serve on their own free will.
I am also grateful to live in a country where we have freedom of religion and the right to worship as we please and I'm grateful for a God who protected my brother while in Hawaii, and my other brother while over seas, and who continues to protect me every day of my life. The church is true. Peace be the journey.
